The Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC) welcomes Ms Kim Cleary as the new VAC International Director from May 2025.
Ms Cleary brings over 25 years of experience in leadership and education program management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland and has been working with Tetra Tech since 2023.

Her previous experience includes as Team Leader for the Nauru Education Program (NEP) and Tuvalu Australia Partnership for Quality Education (TAPQE), Senior Manager Market Development and Global Education network at Global Victoria, Senior Policy Officer for the Victorian Government, Director for Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Policy for the Australian Government Department of Education, Director of Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA), and from 2013 to 2017 she was the Counsellor (Education) at the Australian Embassy in Vietnam.
