Applications for Round 7 of the Australian Alumni Grants Fund (AAGF) open from 20 February to 1 April 2024.
Australian alumni with project ideas that supports Vietnam’s development can secure grants of up to VND 325 million per project on a competitive basis.
The AAGF provides funding for successful proposals from Vietnamese alumni of Australian education to consolidate their professional knowledge and skills; contribute to organisational change in selected Vietnamese government, private sector, civil organisations and other partners; and strengthen linkages between Australia and Vietnam.
Since 2017, AAGF has supported Australian alumni to deliver 193 projects with nearly AUD2.7 million across Vietnam.

The maximum duration for implementing a grant project is 12 months from the date of submission of the signed Grant Agreement.
The AAGF will host information sessions on the AAGF Round 7 guidelines for applicants and provide limited support with writing an application for applicants with disability and/or from rural or remote areas or ethnic minority groups, and applicants with applications about GEDSI topics during the call for applications.
AAGF-funded project: Improving survival skills for the deaf community
Following the approval of grants, training workshops will be delivered to successful applicants on financial and communication management and reporting, GEDSI, and requirements for Child Protection as needed.
