This is one of the important tasks that our leadership has identified in the Work Plan of the Party Committee for the academic year 2020-2021. We would like to thank the Australian Alumni Grants Fund and the University of Sunshine Coast for sponsoring and supporting us in improving the capacity of our lecturers and staff.”

This is an opportunity for Ethnic Minority members like me to learn from international experiences, especially from Australia’s experience in higher education governance and management.

Upon completion of this course, I will apply the knowledge and skills learned to participate in the development of the University’s strategic plan for the period of 2021-2025. I will continue my research and community work to serve the community, especially to support the Ethnic Minority communities in a sustainable and inclusive way.

The training course is focused on the introduction of international and Australian experience in university governance and management in the context of autonomy; advising leaders and managers on the development of strategy for the university development for the period of 2021-2025.

After the training, the participants will engage in the development of University’s strategic planning for the period 2021-2025, and will recommend change and improvement to the Thai Nguyen University of Education.

This AAGF-funded project will promote development cooperation with Australian universities, thereby creating a university governance model for the Thai Nguyen University of Education on its way towards autonomy. It will also contribute to the development of Thai Nguyen University of Education into one of leading pedagogical institutions in Vietnam in the future.
