The 24 new awardees will depart for Australia soon to join more than 20,000 Vietnamese students who are currently enjoying the world-class education in the country. These new recipients are the latest of over 6,000 Vietnamese students who have received Australian Government Scholarship in the last 40 years.

At the ceremony, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, HE Mr. Craig Chittick, expressed his expectations that, upon their return to Vietnam, the recipients will use the knowledge and skills acquired in Australia to contribute to the development of Vietnam and to mutually beneficial linkages between the two countries.

Australia Awards are prestigious international scholarships and fellowships funded by the Australian Government. They offer the next generation of global leaders an opportunity to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia.

Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education linkages, and long-term relations between Australia and countries in the region and the international community.

Australia Awards recipients are carefully equipped to be able to adapt quickly to the multicultural environment in Australia.
