Effective 31 August 2026, Mr Luke Ebbs will assume the position of Aus4Skills Program Director, succeeding Ms Jennie Dehn.
Mr Ebbs joins from Save the Children International, where he served as Country Director in Laos, leading a large, multi-sector portfolio across education, health, child protection, and climate resilience.
He brings over 15 years of leadership experience across Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including roles as Country Director in Vanuatu and Pacific Regional Director, with oversight of programs across Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu. Earlier in his career, Luke held senior leadership roles in Papua New Guinea, including Deputy Country Director and CEO of a high-profile national NGO focused on early childhood education.
He has extensive experience working with major institutional donors, including DFAT, the Green Climate Fund and the Global Partnership for Education, leading program delivery and business development across complex portfolios.
Luke holds a master’s degree in political philosophy (Global Justice) from the University of York, along with qualifications in humanitarian leadership and business administration.
